Super Potato is a vintage gamer's paradise
Super Potato Vintage gaming shop is not for everyone. My daughter was beside herself. Me on the otherhand. (awesome mother...you're welcome daughter:)

Electric Town in the Akahibara area is nothing new and a weird and wonderful area to visit, especially at night. The neon lights glare everywhere with Japanese girls dressed in maid costumes for their clientele (not sure how I feel about this?).
Our mission to the place is not to buy loads of electronics but the interesting vintage Super Potato flagship store.
Yep, doesn't do it for me |
While most shops in this area are laden with new and wonderful gaming bits and bobs, this store focuses on retro gaming consoles, games, and handheld devices. My 'old school' daughter was in her element here.
OMG, are we bored now |
Located through a small door and straight up to the third and fourth floor, this place is jammed packed with all sorts of consoles. She didn't to risk buying any TV type devices in case they weren't region friendly but did leave with an awesome vintage Game Boy and games for a very reasonable price.
can we acknowledge the Mario hat! |
